Either way, we want to know your thoughts on the new remaster in terms of its graphics, and whether you think they’re any good or not.
The character models all look a little odd, straddling the edge of the uncanny valley between looking like a children’s cartoon and a wax model suspended above a candle. Draw distance, model quality, and lighting have all been improved dramatically to the point where they look hardly anything like the original games. But why they gotta do my man Tommy dirty like that? I don’t think anyone would complain about the visual enhancements other than the character models. But the graphics of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition is a hot debate at the moment: are they really good? Or are they terrible? Or are they so bad that they’re actually quite good? Or so good that they’re actually bad? Namely, the graphics themselves, which you’d think nobody would complain about getting a substantial upgrade to after 20 years. After getting our official first look at gameplay recently, the response was a little… confusing? I don't usually do first person so I don't care to fix it 🙂 This is just for the people that want to use one file and of course I think brighter ELS plays a part to this but not too much 🙂
I don't use any other graphic mods with it but I do have reshade downloaded but don't have anything else selected on it as the video shows.
