I have no interest in that right now, but would look into it maybe down the road.Ĭomment on 46 hoe, Just to be clear, the 3PT arms get ZERO stress once the BH is up in the frame. Hydraulic one would require another port and control. (Thanks for reminding me, :laugh IT's on back order still! I'll check in with the dealer and see if anything changed. Maybe, it's by design?Ĭlick to expand. My thumb hasn't arrived yet. So far, I see no possible way to tweak this. I'll have to see if there is a way to adjust anything. I'd just feel better if it was always riding fully up in place. Assumption is, doesn't matter, when force is applied on the BH it would just push up into the frame fully. I do have my own question to any other 270 user, does your lower posts touch the lower sub frame? I see a gap of 1/2" or more there. I think it is the safe way to operate anyway. I pride myself on being as smooth and professional as possible. THis is true of most BH, but 270 really bangs around if you aren't mindful these aren't off and on switches, I can see someone banging and bashing the hell out of the machine and the subframe if they aren't learning to be a smooth operator. You MUST learn to come off and on boom stick slowly. Sorted compacted brush/log piles with accuracy.

Oh, and to add, I've removed several 4-6" stumps without any issue. Mutton has a great video on the 270 mount and dismount. I was a little confused/nervous but it all worked just fine. I've only removed the BH once for fun so far (only 12 hours on my 2025R). Plenty of BH experience, but not on this machine. (stupid design, if that in fact came from deere that way). I am going to put some sort of protection over those hoses to keep the clamp from eventually cutting into the rubber. I also am a bit worried about a metal hose clamp holding a couple of hydraulic lines in place. The dealer had the hose in the wrong place. I feel it is well designed to the 2025R and will keep operators from hurting the machine, the hoe, or the operator.īe careful with hose routing when lifting BH into subframe.

It's only a single swing cylinder, but it get's the job done. Also to note, I believe JD keeps the PSI relief valve setting down on the swing cylinder to prevent damage by over stress. This size machine, I don't see this being a limitation. It seems more like 160+ degrees IMHO, but haven't measured, LOL. (you most likely can leave the top link on too, but I don't) The 270 is awesome! Yes, MMM can stay on, although never understood why you would want the BH on while mowing?ģPT is a MUST, as the lower arms are what you use to lift the BH into the subframe.
